The foundational flaw of permissioned systems isn't technical — it's architectural. Every permissioned system introduces a discretionary failure point: a human, a committee, or an opaque governance layer that can unilaterally alter execution outcomes.

When we say 'trustless,' we don't mean nihilistic. We mean deterministic. A system where the outcome of any operation is pre-computable, verifiable, and irreversible without consensus. This is the difference between a permission and a proof.
